Backend (Node.JS) Engineer

Location: London (Monday, Tuesday and Friday in the office)

What you'll be doing:

Reporting into the Principle / Lead Engineer, you'll work on the early stages of a new product, developing exciting features using modern tools and techniques.

Main responsibilities:

• Translate user stories into engaging mobile and web applications and APIs, whilst building the core platform and integrations.
• Work across the entire software development lifecycle covering requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment and operations.
• Enhance the team by demonstrating best practice throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with our product team to understand customer problems, assess the feasibility, and increase the product roadmap

What we're looking for:

We're looking for Backend Engineer, highly experienced in Node.JS to join our team.

• You're an experienced engineer with 3+ years commercial experience in Node.JS
• You’ll also be well versed in some or all the following technologies – Typescript, AWS / Azure, Java / CSharp, micro-services and event-driven architecture.
• You've experience building the best mobile and API platforms for expanding customer bases, at pace, whilst following industry best practices and design principles.
• Promote an agile development mindset.
• You're able to work well individually and with a team.
• You enjoy helping guide the roadmap.
