We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance Business Partnering Team as a Process Engineer, on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract basis.

Please note: this position offers home working, however you will need to be present at our head office in Bromley 1 day a week.

The Role:

You will be responsible for developing and improving forecasting processes and reports using TM1 and Excel, building advanced IFRS and Solvency II (SII) balance sheets and cash flow models to support FP&A.

Responsible for month end processes including journals and insight packs, as well as completion of the annual budget processes.

What you will be doing:

Supporting the Group’s FP&A Team by simplifying and automating the creation of IFRS and SII forecasts (P&L, balance sheet and cashflow) for the Group and its subsidiaries.

Developing and implementing new forecasting processes using TM1 to leverage automation and shorten completion time. This will include data input routines, calculation engines and the visualisation of outputs.

Building advanced balance sheet models and entity reports to support multi year SII capital forecasts.

Responsible for improving month end and budgeting processes in the COO area, including improvements to management information packs and advanced excel modelling to automate production.

Lead a project to standardise and simplify processes and reports across all Finance Expense Business Partner teams.

Accountable for month end close processes for DLG’s Technology Services and Information Security business units, ensuring timely and effective financial performance reporting and insight can be used to manage operating expenses, headcount and spend with third parties.

Deliver professional advice and expertise to the Information Security Leadership team and other partners on financial issues across the cost base, assisting with their budgets and re-forecasting

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA

  • Proven understanding of Capital Models

  • FP&A/Business Partner experience preferred

  • Experience of delivering operational improvement projects in FP&A functions
