Are you an inspirational and dedicated Configuration and Asset Management Lead?
Working within a small team, as the Configuration & Asset Management Lead, you will join DLG at an exciting junction for the group, as we deliver against our future transformation strategy, and look to maximise the value from our Service Asset & Configuration Management capability.
You will coordinate, analyse, document and report to ensure that service assets and configuration items are led effectively to improve and maintain service performance, quality and stability.
Who you’ll be working with:
You will be part of our Service Control function within Live Services providing a focal point in driving our assurance agenda for IT services supplied by our external partners, and also for capturing customer feedback on our services to drive performance. It is the job of Service Control to work with our internal colleagues and teams to drive the performance and stability of IT Services for the benefit of our business and customers.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading and managing the SACM analyst whilst communicating well by engaging and influencing in order to build trust
Service Management / Delivery experience with the ability to work on your own and collaboratively
Maintaining and configuring ServiceNow (preferable experinece inc ServiceNow’s Discovery/Mapping capabilities)
Coordinating Configuration Management plans within the agreed framework, infrastructure, applications and asset management
Coordinate and execute the identification, control, monitoring and verification of the Configuration Item links.
Lead changes to CI data through a controlled process.
Work with 3rd party service providers to produce audits, establish baselines, develop reports, metrics performance indicators and drive improvements in CI data quality.
Seek opportunities for improving service operations processes to drive cost and process efficiencies.
