We know we can’t do this without our brilliant people who we reward for ideas and thinking as well as results because that’s how we can achieve amazing things – for our customers and for each other.
What we’re looking for
This isn't your standard pricing role, it's actually quite the opposite. You will be working with some really exciting clients, such as high net-worth individuals and their private insurance solutions for mansions, pets and vehicles.
There may also be other reasons why a standard pricing module wouldn't be appropriate, and it's your role to assess the insurance for these sometimes complex packages.
You should therefore thrive in an ever-changing environment, and be a problem solver with a good risk understanding.
Who you’ll be working with
Initially your line manager will be Mark Rhodes until Stephanie Kerns, Private Pricing Manager, returns from maternity leave. Sitting within a team of three and working across Bromley and Leeds, you will work on several challenging pricing projects across our Private and Non-Standard businesses and look to continue the teams successes in 2019 and beyond, so now is a great time to join the team!
What you’ll be doing
As part of the wider Home Pricing team at Direct Line Group this is an opportunity for you to provide innovative and effective analytical pricing with a focus on delivery of Pricing for Private and Non-Standard businesses.
The Private Insurance pricing team are responsible for all pricing related activity for DLG’s Mid and High Net worth Home, Motor and Pet products. In particular, the team will be focusing on building new Pricing capability over the next few years.
What we’ll give you
We have a strong focus on developing you and your skillset and work hard to give you the tools to do so. In addition to this we also offer a generous benefits package including family and work life balance focused options such as: fully paid maternity leave and parental leave, flexible working, insurance savings for you and your family as well as a range of other optional benefits.
Here are just a few of the highlights:

Career benefits and rewards
Rewarding you is really important to us, as well as offering a competitive salary and generous holiday entitlement; you can take advantage of a wide range of benefits. The best part is you can pick and choose the benefits to suit your own lifestyle, but also pass on some of the savings to family and friends. Here are just a few we have on offer:
