Digital Insight Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Insight Analyst to join a FTSE100 company. Direct Line Group is a market leading insurer based in Bromley and we’re only 15 mins from Victoria!

Data, Insight and Analytics plays a massive part of how the Digital Department functions and the role of the Digital Insight Analyst is critical to the success of the business. The team consists of 4 core functions; Insight, Implementation, Optimisation and Data and has grown from a team of 5 to a team of 18 over the last couple of years.

Using enterprise level, industry leading tools from a web analytics and customer experience perspective, the Digital Insight Analyst role touches on all four of these core functions to drive customer focused actionable insight to provide a seamless end to end Digital experience.

Some key focuses will be

  • Provide actionable insight that will benefit the business and the customer. Identifying opportunities and bringing these to fruition with support from the team
  • Present analysis findings and performance results of insight driven changes in regular Insight sessions
  • Use insight findings to drive and influence a customer focused culture within scrum teams and the wider business
  • Influence Prioritisation within Digital using both a data driven approach and leading strong relationships with partners
  • Own and lead the Digital data that is presented in trading meetings through setting initial requirements and ensuring that they are met to our standards.
  • Ensure that optimisation testing (A/B and MVT) is at the forefront of people’s minds. Be the decision maker in creation, measurement and recommendation

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in Web Analytics (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or similar)
  • Ability to undertake statistical analysis and to provide strategic insight

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of working in a Web Analytics based role
  • Engaging and confident communication skills
