What we’re looking for
This is an exciting career opportunity in the field of Commercial Lines pricing that would suit an experienced insurance pricing analyst with a real passion for delivering high quality pricing recommendations through logical analysis, and who is able to gain the trust of senior partners.
It goes without saying that you should be a good team player but also be able to use your own initiative and progress work independently.
Ideally have experience within a similar insurance pricing or analytical role in the financial services industry
You’ll have an analytical mindset
Knowledge of SAS, EMBlem, Radar and/or optimisation software is preferable but not essential.
You can demonstrate your excellent communication and relationship building skills

What you’ll be doing
Being a Pricing specialist we want to mine your knowledge and experience and look to you to develop recommendations to improve DLG’s pricing performance.
We are a company where we say it like it is, and if something needs fixing, or improvements can be made - we would love to hear about it. We expect you to offer your support to the wider team and take the lead on some projects and that your insight will inform and positively influence business decisions and strategy.
You will be working to constantly improve our pricing models, work with the wider teams, including underwriting, to reduce risks and deliver a better pricing structure to our customers.
Who will you be working with?
The role sits within the Commercial Motor Pricing team reporting to James Benson, Head of Pricing Products. This is a diverse role however and you might be expected to assist with projects for other teams within the Department, depending upon work stack priorities at the time. The team focuses on the commercial van and complex commercial motor products.
