Due to a recent internal promotion we now have an opportunity of an Admin Support Assistant to join our Bodily Injury Claims department here at Bromley. This is an excellent entry level opportunity for an Administrator to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.

Purpose of Role

As an Admin Assistant you will act as a support function to the Bodily Injury Department in relation to the uploading claims from the claims industry portal in line with the MOJ requirements and business rules. You will also be responsible for carrying out various tasks that relate to the allocation of claims to handlers across the business.

What being an Admin Support Assistant within our Bodily Injury Department involves:

  • Achieve daily allocation target on queues in line with their colleagues & expectations
  • To Improve the customer experience by managing quality of work - Achieve acceptable standard of minor/significant errors on reviews, No more than 1% error rate on development log
  • Be receptive to change, training and develop self in order to maximise personal growth
  • Deliver a best in class work allocation process that manages volume control and adherence to allocation rules.
  • Be able to demonstrate effective communication verbally and written
  • Support the business and carry out ad-hoc duties that relate to Bodily injury claims as required
  • To Be complaint with Workday & I-Learning Procedures
  • Participating in Group Huddles and Meetings
  • To possess and keep updated a sound working knowledge of MOJ Portal, and claims handling and Best Practice processes
  • Take ownership of claims, rejections and documentation

Skills & Qualities you'll need:

  • Good IT Skills, especially Excel & Outlook
  • Good time management 
  • General administration skills
  • Strong and effective communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work together with a view to building strong relationships with staff and customers

The successful candidates will be customer focused and will role model through positive behaviours, demonstrating our DLG values. You will be a strong team player and able to work collaboratively as well as being a proactive self starter.

Hours: This is a full time role, 35 hours per work (Monday-Friday 8am-4pm)
