What we're looking for:
We are looking for a passionate Platform Administrator keen to deliver an excellent support service to the SAS environments and to its users.
We are undergoing a lot of exciting technology changes and your role will be key in providing support and experience to the wider team as we implement changes and roll out improvements. You will be a key individual across several of our projects, ensuring we are able to deliver to target and with minimal disruption.
Your previous experience as customer facing platform administrator with strong work ethic is key for us, as is your knowledge of SAS (coding and error investigation) and Linux. If you have some VBA coding skills that will be very welcome as well.
You will be part of the team responsible for the management and maintenance of the SAS platform and will work with other IT teams responsible for back-ups, file restores, upgrades and migrations. We will look to you to take ownership and thoroughly investigate tickets using your troubleshooting, problem solving and performance tuning skills.

Ability to manage several requests at once, prioritising and raising issues if they arise.
Who you’ll be working with
You’ll be working within the Chief Data Office at the centre of the business and often you will also work directly with other technical teams.
You’ll be required to work some weekends and some evenings to implement and/or support platform changes and incidents, however most of the time this will be flexible with hours and working patterns.
There is also the flexibility to work from home 1 or 2 days a week.
You will be reporting into Carlos Santos, and work as part of a wider Platform Admin team which has already welcomed three additional members in the last couple of months. We are growing and are excited about the future, and we hope you are too.
What you’ll be doing
responsible for working on new projects/implementations as well as supporting existing deployed code and applications for the on premise SAS platforms.
Working on Platform development projects including many streams from different parties.
The gate keeper ensuring nothing gets deployed that doesn’t meet our development standards.
Involved throughout the project lifecycle from requirements analysis through to design, development sprints and testing phases.
Collaborate tightly with other Chief Data Office teams to ensure that we deliver the best value possible to our business users.
