What we’re looking for
We are looking for a Portfolio Pricing Manager to be accountable for creating and delivering pricing strategies across of our Insuretech business - Darwin. It is a key role in Darwin's start-up team and will suit someone able to apply their experience of insurance and their commercial acumen to Insurance pricing and risk selection.
If you join you'll play a lead role in one of the most innovative and game-changing pricing and underwriting functions in the UK insurance market.
This role is unlike any other at DLG, or for that matter at any other established insurance company. We operate as a start-up business and are on the cusp of transitioning into a truly exciting scale-up phase. This role has huge potential to make a material contribution to shaping the Darwin business, and in turn, the wider DLG.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be central to developing and implementing Darwin’s approach to customer lifetime value pricing. Using your experience and knowledge we will look to you to overlay actuarial, commercial, and insurance expertise onto Darwin’s bespoke and unique machine learning models and pricing approach.

The Darwin team consists of true subject matter experts within their fields, and you will have the opportunity to grow in our small team of data scientists, pricing and underwriting specialists. You are reporting into Matthew Fothergill, Head of P&U.
