What we're looking for:
This is an exciting time within our Change and Automation team. With numerous Project Manager positions available to improve our capability and permanent resource. We are looking for experienced Business Change Project Managers to come on board and manage the shaping of new initiatives through to delivery.
Leadership experience. We’re looking for leaders who are accountable for outcomes and benefits, comfortable leading and coaching, and able to look beyond day to day project delivery
Credibility in managing senior stakeholders
Technical capability – Logical thinkers, those who can present a plan, addressing risks and issues with flexibility on how to move forward. Utilise different project methodologies including Agile, and Waterfall to achieve the collective goal
Experience of the following would be preferred: lean start up, user-centric discovery, alpha, beta and live iteration, AI design and/or implementation and multi-channel
Who you'll be working with:
You will lead projects on behalf of stakeholders from all across our business – in the last few years we have delivered projects for colleagues working in Customer Operations, Claims, Counter-Fraud, Robotics, Digital, Property and Finance to name just a few! You will get support from Business Analysts, PMO and of course business SMEs to help ensure your projects are a success.
Our team has grown to deliver significant change at DLG and continues to do so. We are accountable for the end to end delivery of business change projects, leading the way on key strategic drivers. This is an exciting and dynamic team to be part of – now and in the future!
What you'll be doing:
Leading a team of BAs, SMEs, Business Change Managers and colleagues from other parts of the business, including Technology Services
Determining the scope and requirements of each project, and building a business case
Building a clear project plan based on realistic planning assumptions, clearly articulating the critical milestones and resources required are agreed
Assuring delivery against the project plans, including the management of key issues as they arise
Ensuring that the people, financial and commercial impacts of the project delivery are understood
Building and sustaining strong working relationships with stakeholders across all levels
Effective managing risks and dependencies in line with DLG’s risk framework
