What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a proactive Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to join our HR function on a permanent full-time basis. The location for this role can be based across any of our sites.
This is a rare opportunity which encompasses primarily managing people risks in a diverse range of job roles as well as having oversight of property risks in a multi-site organisation. You will support the senior management team as the subject matter expert for the Group, this will include developing and implementing strategy, governance, processes, performance and culture within the business.
You need to be an excellent communicator and be able to engage clearly at the right level and build strong relationships with ease. You will effectively influence and challenge others to ensure the best outcome is achieved.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Health and Safety professional,
you will have a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and ideally hold GradIOSH or CMIOSH status.
Who you’ll be working with:
As the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager you will support the senior management team as the subject matter expert and collaborate with the wider HR team.
You will report directly into Richard Stanbury, who is the Head of HR Business Partnering, Head Office & Employee Relations.
What you’ll be doing
The key purpose of this role is to lead & provide strategic direction to ensure a robust risk-based health & safety management system is maintained, implemented, monitored and updated as required to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
