Customer Service Adviser

Our salary package currently starts from £22672 (includes 9% pension contribution), plus an opportunity to earn an additional bonus up to £4,200 per year for sales roles. From 1st January 2023 the salary will increase to £23805 (includes 9% pension contribution).
What you'll be doing:
You may already know about our brands and some of the Insurance products we offer, but our Bristol team focus and support customers with insurance for their businesses or home life.
You're going to take calls, helping with renewals, making amendments, dealing with claims or finding the right product for their daily life or their business. Some days can be a little bit busy, but the team are absolutely outstanding, and we're proud of our DLG team culture.
Our teams are available Monday to Friday between 8am-9.15pm, Saturday shift between 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am – 5pm. In these roles you'll work shifts across these days which we'll share more about during your application.
What you'll need:
No matter what stage of your career you are at we offer full training and support in these roles, so you really don't need experience. But if you do have experience there is plenty of opportunity for future development and learning.
Your tailored training academy will be over 6-8 weeks, some will be onsite in our Bristol office, giving you additional support from your trainer and a chance to integrate with your team, and the remainder you will complete at home.
Once your training is complete, you'll work from home and from the Bristol office, which is a great opportunity to be with your team and your team leader, who you will report to and who will provide any support you require. We'll provide you with a technology bundle to suit your needs when working from home so all you'll need is an internet connection and a quiet space to work. We're on a transformation journey to The Contact Centre of the Future, which will be customer-centric and data-driven, therefore you'll be comfortable using a PC.
