Customers can access our legal Advice-line team and our growing list of services includes personal injury, employment, property, inheritance, and contract litigation. We also support our parent group, litigating on their behalf.
We are recruiting for a Legal Claims Administrators to join our DLG Legal Services team, on a full-time and Permanent a basis.
This position can be based from Bristol, Leeds or Bromley office.
The role:
As a Legal Claims Administrator, you will be supporting the team of fee earners in the Litigation departments and reporting to the Manager(s) of the respective department. The role is varied and requires a high level of self-management and flexibility with various administrative functions.
What you’ll be doing:
Preparing and maintaining of Client files and court bundles
Conducting independent review of cases to draft CPR compliant witness statements
Sorting, collecting and allocating post, including USB and CD extraction
Completing routine claim processes such as file closure checklists, checking claim forms to ensure all fields are completed, instructing enforcement officers
Carrying out basic fact-finding exercises such as credit searches and Land Registry searches
Reviewing/sorting large files/documents to identify key facts/dates/document types etc.
Providing telephony support such as phone calls chasing overdue payments from suppliers, message taking, courtesy calls to clients, transcribing calls etc.
Booking Counsel with various UK/Scottish chambers for Preliminary/Final Hearings
Managing documentation including printing, scanning, and uploading of documents to the DLG Legal Services case management system
Assisting with general management of post/documentation for the team, ensuring that documents are correctly allocated on the case management system
Managing shared calendars, e.g. room bookings, limitation dates, telephone hearings, client conferences
IT & equipment related tasks such as resolving printer/equipment issues, password resets, new user requests, business change requests, profile changes, remote access and intranet access issues
Raising invoices, requesting cheques and assisting with general accounts process such as billing/costs etc.
Monitoring and maintaining stationery, printer supplies and general office space etc.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 Hours - Monday - Friday
Location: Bristol (BS1 6JX), Leeds (LS1 4AZ), Bromley (BR1 1DP)
Home Working: 3 days from home / 2 days from the office
