Finance Systems Support Analyst
Direct Line Group is one of the UK's largest insurance companies and home to some of the best-known brands including Direct Line, Churchill and Green Flag.
What you'll be doing:
You will run daily controls to ensure we maintain financial integrity within Finance Business Applications supported systems.
Finance Systems administer and maintain six main financial applications for Direct Line Group as well multiple locally developed applications on several platforms. These systems handle all financial recording, reporting and forecasting including 30 million transactions and over £4bn of payments a year and 1500 users. Finance Systems provides first and second line support for these systems, including integrity of interfaces, user access and operation of key controls.
They are also responsible for driving system improvements and provide configuration, development, process and technical SME and change delivery expertise.
Complete all daily tasks, which may include EPG, ARCS, ERP & TM1
Complete service requests to defined standards and timelines
Complete FSH Data Fixes
Provide 1st line support for all finance owned applications including liaison with stakeholders and referring appropriate issues to more senior members of the team.
Validate the current use of systems and related processes and suggest enhancements to systems and their use.
Build working relationships with key stakeholders, users and technology teams to ensure support calls are resolved and updates/results communicated.
Complete administration duties for the team including ServiceNow Queue
Ownership of team logistics
Management, small change and change approval process
Provide support on internal and external audits
What you'll need:
An ability to understand functionality of Direct Line Group Finance Systems and business processes.
Understand business processes and the requirements they are designed to meet.
Understanding of Finance Business Applications which could include PTX, ARCS, TM1, FSH & FCCS
