HR Data Insights Lead

We are looking for someone to lead our HR Data Insights Team, responsible for providing analysis of HR data and meaningful insights to support data driven decision making across DLG. You will report into our CEO Lead of Reward, HRIS and Data.
The HR Data strategy is still in its infant stages and therefore you will play a key role in the development of this strategy and will help to shape the way HR data is used across DLG. We are looking for someone who is passionate about coaching and development as you will be managing a small team of data analysts.
What you'll be doing:
You will lead the production of the monthly ExCo Obeya report and present insights to HR Leadership Team.
You will ensure our HR data reporting suite is updated and developed following business needs.
You will lead on data aspects of Gender and Ethnicity pay gap reporting, ensuring analysis is accurate, Interrogating data.
You will Manage relationships between the HR Data Insights team and internal stakeholders, ensuring the business is aware of how they can access data and is receiving the support they require.
You will support the DET in managing the HR Lakeshore Mart suite of dashboards, acting as a business analyst where new information is required.
You will deliver data deep-dives to HR and wider business stakeholders in line with business needs to inform strategy.
You will support the embedding of a self-service data model across HR and the wider business, upskilling users as appropriate.
You will act as the HR Data Subject Matter Expert, helping other stakeholders understand trends in key HR data sets such as attrition, absence and D&I.
What you'll need:
Advanced Excel and Microsoft office skills
Advanced analytical skills
Familiarity with data visualisation tools (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI)
Experience with HRIS (workday preferable, including building reports, understanding how data is structured etc.)
Ability to concisely present insights, adapting to different audiences.
Experience working in a HR environment.
Ability to prioritise, manage team workload and deprioritise work.
