To support this, we're recruiting for a Learning Specialist for Onboarding.
We're a diverse, collaborative dedicated team of team of learning professionals re-framing learning across DLG, developing growth mindsets and fostering learning culture to connect skills to careers and business performance. You'll join a newly created team, reporting into our Learning Experience Lead, working across Learning Experience, HR and DLG colleagues, business leaders, SMEs and trusted 3rd parties to deploy and evolve highly impactful learning solutions in line with your specialism.

What you'll be doing:
A typical day will involve a healthy mix of collaborating with our COEs, providing guidance of how learning could help deliver the strategies they have agreed
You'll be working closely with our trusted 3rd parties via our managed service provider to develop and evolve solutions and handle any escalations
Facilitate demand planning for the learning solutions that relate to your specialism, seeking out efficiencies in our approach
Work with our Employer Brand Team to develop and deploy marketing approaches
You'll conduct research, interpret data, run user feedback sessions and regularly deliver your findings
Focussed on shaping the onboarding experience for all colleagues at all levels, from a range of different backgrounds and entry routes including apprentices.
Ensuring our onboarding initiatives are targeted appropriately to meet varying levels of skill, running efficiently, optimising speed to competency, and complimentary of key HR strategies e.g. EVP, L&D, Future Skills, DE&I etc and continues to deliver measurable value for DLG and our colleagues.
Responsible for providing thought leadership, diagnosing learning needs, shaping learning solutions with experts from the across the team and ensuring those solutions continue to perform and deliver value for our colleagues by helping them to grow their careers with DLG.
Seeking out, establishing, and maintaining critical relationships with business and industry leaders continuously evolving your insight.
What you'll need:
You'll be well versed in helping organisations implement strategies that attract, grow, and retain the skills needed as an organisation in a hybrid working model.
You'll have a reputation for being a collaborator, bringing the right skills together to deliver change at pace, using your ability to think broadly yet provide targeted and innovative solutions.

If you've got the skills we're looking for location doesn't really matter although you'll often need to be prepared travel to one of our hubs (London or Leeds).
