Pricing & Underwriting Change Delivery Specialist
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for someone to join our Pricing & Underwriting team on a permanent basis, as a P&U Change Delivery Specialist! Supporting the development of the pricing strategy for Personal Lines through building, testing, implementing and maintaining changes accurately and efficiently to the Radar rating algorithm and rating tables in order to ensure commercial viability and other business objectives.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be part of a team providing an innovative and effective Insurance Rating System delivery service with a focus on change deployment for our Personal Lines Business. This will include:
Suggesting recommendations to improve DLG’s rating efficiency and longer-term pricing delivery capability, covering both testing and deployment
Owning, building, maintaining, and monitoring production algorithms and documentation for the business in Radar
Owning, building and maintaining our pre and post live testing processes to ensure accuracy
Engaging with wider areas of deployment including change, testing, product owners, and pricing analysts to ensure the rating strategy is supported
Engaging in technical discussions with key people to ensure that business needs and timeframes are met in accordance with the request requirements and governance
Identifying, owning, and managing the risks involved in running our business appropriately to this role, in line with the company risk framework. Communicating to peers and team managers in a timely manner where you have discovered price, model or data issues and suggest appropriate remedial actions

You will be an effective communicator at all levels and be able to demonstrate positive relationship management and partner engagement skills. You will be a good teammate but also be able to use your own initiative and be able to progress work independently. We also are looking for the following skills:
Knowledge of programming languages and software such as SQL, SAS, Radar, Python (Excel VBA is desirable)
General software developer/testing experience - very desirable
Data manipulation experience – very desirable
Radar – knowledge of the WTW Radar software and how to build, develop and test desirable
