£55,000 - £65,000 DoE plus 9% pension, bonus and benefits

What we're looking for
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Property and Casualty Underwriter to take on a managerial role with our Commercial lines brand, NIG.
This will be a home-based role, with occasional travel to our Kings Langley location 2-3 times per month.

What you'll be doing
Insurance is going through significant change, and we understand the challenges ahead - and you will too. It is more important than ever to deliver in line with the Regional plans for profit, development, revenue and growth - as well as setting a strategy fit for the future and you will be key in delivering this for the Property and Casualty account within the region.
We are looking for people whom will see the team delivery as their top priority, inspiring and promoting improvements, highlights inaccuracies and inefficiencies and rewards collaboration across teams, both internal and external.
This will include analysis of key performance statistics, and delivery of underwriting actions such as applying new underwriting rules and improving rating as well as working closely with brokers and owning the service delivery levels we achieve.
Who you'll be working with
You will be reporting to the Regional Manager leading a team of Multi line underwriters. Currently there are 3 trading underwriters whom you will lead and develop as part of your role. We are a fun social experienced team who look to put the customer at the heart of everything we do.
