Regulatory Change and Conduct Manager

What you'll be doing:
You will provide subject matter expertise across a broad range of regulatory and conduct matters. Lead activity on behalf of the Centre of Expertise which supports the operational application of, regulatory change and conduct requirements across the Group.
Lead activity to build business responses to industry consultation and activity, working with 2LOD, engaging externally where required.
Manage activity to develop operational interpretation of customer and conduct related regulatory requirements, with outputs being used to support implementation across departments
Interpret the group conduct risk appetite current FCA regulations
Apply Conduct regulatory requirements in a way which supports the requirement to act to deliver good outcomes for retail customers whilst understanding the impacts on commercial outcomes
Manage individual pieces of work on behalf of the Centre of Expertise using the regulatory change framework (solution design and implementation) and facilitate operation / deployment through provision of SME advice
Lead thematic review activity to provide assurance on how teams have implemented regulatory change and provide balanced outputs to lead management of conduct and regulatory risks
Coach and grow regulatory awareness, working with 2LOD, across DLG and contribute to work across multiple areas on regulatory issues that span teams/tribes/Centre of Expertise
Manage activity to deliver Conduct MI and reporting for Group Governance forums
Maintain relationship with 2LOD and 3LOD to support understanding and response to respective oversight and assurance engagements
Build understanding of DLG and develop relationships to help implement the principle of acting to deliver good outcomes for retail customers
Maintain knowledge of the customer and conduct regulatory landscape
What you'll need:
Develop relationships; look to collaborate frequently
Capability to understand regulatory requirements and define solutions which support our goals
Organised and can deliver pieces of work in an environment where levels of ambiguity and uncertainty may be present
Understanding of the insurance sector and regulatory landscapes (consumer duty)
Understanding of the regulatory and customer conduct context in which DLG operates
