What we're looking for
We are looking for an individual with previous experience in working within a HR reward team. A person with strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills and with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. If you have good record of providing an outstanding stakeholder support, we would like to hear from you.
This is a permanent role, with flexible working opportunity to work from both home and in the office, 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Our team is based in Bromley and Leeds, therefore travel into one of these office’s will be required for team building activities and collaboration, and monthly development conversations.
Who you will be working with
You will work as part of the HR Reward team, providing specialist technical expertise, advice, and detailed analysis to Reward managers, HR and the wider business including senior stakeholders.
You will work closely with the Senior Executive Compensation Manager to carry out a review of our variable pay schemes, supporting business leads with the design and implementation of any new scheme designs.
What you will be doing
- You will be responsible for acting as the Reward lead in designing the annual pay review and Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) including:
- Agreement of the Pay review and AIP principles
- Budget distribution and pay and bonus Matrix design to support business and people strategy
- Delivery management including acting at the Reward SME on the pay review project group
- Support the internal comms team and act as the Reward SME with any strategic pay review comms
- You will be acting as a Reward SME and supporting with the design of DLG incentive schemes ensuring alignment to reward strategy and working with the business incentive teams as appropriate
- You will also act as a Job evaluation SME for DLG and be the escalation point for any queries and grade sign offs (using the Willis Towers Watson GGS tool)
- You will take responsibility for all BAU supporting Reward activity including:
- Benchmarking and managing market data providers
- Managing approach to equal pay and compliance with legislative changes
- Acting as SME on Gender Pay Gap and Ethnicity Pay Gap reporting
- Act as a Reward SME and support with T&Cs harmonisations for employees in post-acquisition/TUPE scenarios
- Keep abreast of all legislative and market change to provide direction and expert advice to Reward, HR and the business including supporting any regulatory activity
- You will participate and/or sponsor the design and delivery of other adhoc reward projects
