Customer Service Apprenticeship
University isn’t always the answer. An apprenticeship with DLG will help you grow your career alongside working towards a recognised qualification and believe it or not, working in Insurance is fun.
At DLG we are obsessed by creating fantastic customer experiences and this role provides the opportunity to get hands on experience supporting our customers. We are on a transformation journey to become a data driven, tech led insurer and we are investing in our employees’ development to ensure they have the skills not only for today but also tomorrow. So, as part of this role you will not only have access to training to develop your customer service skills, you will also learn about the power of data and how to make the best use of the information you have access to. This training will be delivered via a Level 3 Data and Customer Service Apprenticeship.
What you’ll be doing
You may already know about our brands and some of the Insurance products we offer, but as an Advisor in our Doncaster office you’ll support customers with Motor Insurance. You’re going to be taking calls, helping with renewals and making amendments. You’ll need to be a great listener; be able to adapt your approach and most importantly just be there to support our customers when they need us most.
Some days can be a little bit busy, but the team are absolutely outstanding, and we’re proud of our DLG team culture.
Who you’ll be working with
Our teams are available Monday to Friday between 8am to 9:15pm, Saturday and Sunday between 8am to 5pm. In these roles you’ll work shifts across these days which we'll share more about during your application. However, with our mixed model way of working you'll have great work life balance.
Some of your training will be onsite in our Doncaster office, giving you additional support from your trainer and a chance to integrate with your team, and the remainder you will complete at home.
Once your training is complete, you’ll work in a hybrid way sometimes in the office, a great opportunity to be with your team, and the rest of the time you can ditch the commute and work from home. All you'll need when working from home is an internet connection and a quiet space to work. We’ll provide you with everything else, including a technology bundle to suit your needs. Some basic IT skills will be really helpful.
What we’ll give you
Our salary package starts from £22672 (includes 9% pension contribution), plus excellent benefits designed to suit you as and when you need them
