Want to ditch the commute and work remotely? We’re looking for people to join our teams from the comfort of their own home!  All you'll need is an internet connection, a quiet space to work, and we’ll provide you with everything else, from a tailored training academy to a technology bundle to suit your needs. Some basic IT skills will be really helpful. Although you will be working from home you must be based in the UK.

Our salary package starts from £22,672 (includes 9% pension contribution), plus an opportunity to earn an additional bonus up to £4,200 per year for sales roles.

At Direct Line Group we support thousands of customers with their insurance needs each and every day. Whether it’s through simple amends to their policy, talking through their options or just helping to put things right when they have claim. Our Customer Advisor roles are at the heart of what we do!

What you’ll be doing:

You may already know about our brands and some of the Insurance products we offer, but as an Advisor you may support customers with insurance for their businesses or for their own day to day life.

You’re going to be taking calls, helping with queries, finding the right product for their needs or you may need to keep them safe on the roadside or guide them through a claim when something may have gone wrong. You’ll need to be a great listener; be able to adapt your approach and most importantly just be there to support our customers when they need us the most.

Some days can be a little bit busy, but the team are absolutely outstanding, and we’re proud of our DLG team culture.

If you’re interested in joining our team, we’ll talk through our opportunities and match your skills to the right role for you.

What we’re looking for:

No matter what stage of your career you are at we offer full training and support in these roles, so you really don’t need experience. But if you do have experience there is plenty of opportunity for future development and learning.

Our customer service teams are available between Monday - Friday 08:00 – 21:15, Saturday 09:00 – 17:00 and Sunday 10:00 – 17:00. Our Roadside Rescue shifts can often be between 7am and 10pm Monday to Sunday. We pay additional shift allowances for consultants that are required to work unsociable hours so that we are here when our customers need us. In these roles you’ll work shifts across these days which we'll share more about during your application.

If during the recruitment process you require any reasonable adjustments, please just let us know.

What we’ll give you:

We recognise we wouldn’t be where we are today without our colleagues, that’s why we offer such excellent benefits designed to suit you as and when you need them:

  • Pension. We believe saving for the future’s important, so you’ll benefit from auto-enrolment and a generous contribution from us (we’ll pay the equivalent of 9% of your base salary into your pension). You can also make additional contributions through our pension plan as it’s been designed to make saving for your retirement as flexible as possible.

  • Generous holidays.

  • 50% off home, motor and pet insurance.

  • Free travel insurance.

  • Free Green Flag breakdown cover

  • Discounts, cash back and offers. Your social calendar may need some managing, as we have offers on big high street stores, travel, show tickets, gym membership and lots more!

  • Flexible casual dress code. It’s not about what you wear, it’s about what you can do, so why not be comfortable doing it.

  • Plus much more…
