Head of New Partner Development

Leeds/London – Hybrid

We’re looking for an established, commercially astute, driven leader to nurture and grow our Green Flag new partner development team. You will lead the team in developing compelling partner propositions and commercial proposals that deliver mutual and sustainable value, whilst ensuring alignment to the Green Flag vision and delivering great customer outcomes. This is a new role, to join our growing team, reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships.

What you'll be doing

  • Work with the Head of strategic partnerships to evolve and execute the partnerships strategy in line with the Green Flag vision.

  • Identify and assess new market opportunities and trends.

  • Create and manage a pipeline of partnership prospects that deliver mutual benefit and sustainable relationships.

  • Apply a deep understanding of the regulatory and risk landscape to identify the implications for partner business models, products and processes.

  • Lead the new partnership development team to deliver compelling propositions to market to attract and secure new partnership deals.

  • Lead commercial negotiations, ensuring balanced, viable partnership terms and delivery of great customer outcomes.

  • Work with the onboarding and existing partners teams to support the implementation of new partners, ensuring a seamless transition and high-quality customer outcomes.

  • Lead and mentor the new partnership development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and high performance.

  • Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders to remain informed of all opportunities, and risks in relation to partnership activity.

  • Be an ambassador for Green Flag, representing at relevant events and conferences.

  • Track and analyse partnership development initiatives to ensure business benefits are being realised.

What you'll need

  • Established network in the breakdown, automotive, financial services industries.

  • Deep experience in a similar role in the automotive/ breakdown sector.

  • Accomplished leader with a proven track record of leading a high performing team.

  • Thought leadership, team player with strategic thinking.

  • Stakeholder management and relationship building at all levels.

  • Excellent communication skills.
