Senior Project Manager – Business Change Delivery

What you'll do:
As a Senior Project Manager you will manage the successful initiation, planning and design of large-scale Business Change projects following agreed business objectives, budgets, benefit expectations and time frames. You will lead complex projects through to closure demonstrating the ability to foresee potential issues throughout delivery to build effective controls and actions to ensure that the project maintains a delivery outcome against the defined project objectives.
We are looking for significant drive, enthusiasm and a proactive approach to inspire stakeholder confidence in the ability of the project manager to meet the project objective.
Scope project requirements and build an plan which articulates milestones and actions / owners for these to be achieved within agreed parameters of time, cost, quality and regulatory requirements.
Ensure people, financial and commercial impacts of the project delivery are understood. Role will involve budget management.
Provide monitoring of overall progress against the project plan, use of resources and initiating corrective action.
Provide ownership and oversight of completion of required actions for each milestone through hands-on task completion delegation where required.
Build trust and sustain relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business both internal and external.
Deliver clear and messages to a range of stakeholders across the organisation whilst maintaining an open and transparent dialogue throughout the life of the project.
Risk management with the ability to pre-empt potential issues and look to build mitigation to prevent situations arising.
Manage project governance controls, including: Change Control, Risk, Issue and Benefits, Cost & Dependency Management, Business Readiness, Delivery Assurance and Project Closure.
Awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact.
Independent networking to build a support system across all key business areas.
What you'll need:
• Experience managing 3rd party partnerships
• Project management experience and experience delivering large, complex projects – circa 1 million +
• Understanding of organisational challenges
• Senior stakeholder management experience
• PRINCE2/APMP/Agile practitioner qualification
