What you’ll be doing
Reporting directly to the Head of Data Solutions, you'll:
Design, develop, and optimise business intelligence solutions to enable data-driven decision-making.
Build and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
Write and optimise SQL queries to extract, transform, and aggregate data from Amazon Redshift Lakeshore Marts (LSMs).
Improve dashboard performance by optimising queries, extracts, and calculations for a better user experience.
Collaborate with users to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure BI solutions meet business needs.
Support self-service BI initiatives by guiding users in accessing and interpreting data.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability while maintaining best practices for documentation and data lineage.
Work within an Agile/Kanban environment, collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and other business stakeholders to deliver impactful BI solutions.
What we’re looking for
Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and optimising data within Amazon Redshift and Lakeshore Marts (or similar SQL-based data warehouses).
Expertise in Tableau (Desktop & Server/Online) for building reports, dashboards, and ensuring best practices in data visualisation.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and actionable BI solutions that drive decision-making.
Experience empowering business users with self-service BI tools, ensuring accessibility and usability of data.
