What you’ll be doing

Reporting directly to the Head of Data Solutions, you'll:

  • Design, develop, and optimise business intelligence solutions to enable data-driven decision-making.

  • Build and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decisions.

  • Write and optimise SQL queries to extract, transform, and aggregate data from Amazon Redshift Lakeshore Marts (LSMs).

  • Improve dashboard performance by optimising queries, extracts, and calculations for a better user experience.

  • Collaborate with users to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure BI solutions meet business needs.

  • Support self-service BI initiatives by guiding users in accessing and interpreting data.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability while maintaining best practices for documentation and data lineage.

  • Work within an Agile/Kanban environment, collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and other business stakeholders to deliver impactful BI solutions.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and optimising data within Amazon Redshift and Lakeshore Marts (or similar SQL-based data warehouses).

  • Expertise in Tableau (Desktop & Server/Online) for building reports, dashboards, and ensuring best practices in data visualisation.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and actionable BI solutions that drive decision-making.

  • Experience empowering business users with self-service BI tools, ensuring accessibility and usability of data.
