This role will require 2 days per week in the London office, some travel to other locations. While facilitating training, office presence could increase up to 5 days.

What you'll be doing:

Reporting into the Learning Experience team, this role provides a unique opportunity to guide senior business leaders through challenges and opportunities, helping them to identify and realise their own potential and inspire future and existing People Leaders to create a working environment where high performance can flourish.

You’ll challenge our business leaders to shift mindsets and adopt progressive attitudes. You will use your commercial insight and expertise in management and leadership development to shape initiatives and work in partnership with our Design Studio, People Partners, Head of Leadership and Talent, Change Hub and CoE Leads to help build HR strategies through high quality coaching and management/leadership development initiatives.

You will design and deliver highly effective, facilitator led, engaging and inclusive learning experiences to colleagues across Direct Line and our partners. Ensure facilitated learning attracts people to Direct Line Group, connects skills to career development and delivers sustainable performance by developing the skills we need today and in the future.

  • Identify coaching opportunities to drive performance in collaboration with L&D Specialists, People Partners, and key HR stakeholders.
  • Coach mid to senior level business leaders using agreed frameworks.
  • Collaborate with external partners to complement coaching solutions.
  • Shape digital content requirements and design facilitated learning solutions in collaboration with Learning Specialists and Design Studio.
  • Ensure critical business messaging is integrated into learning initiatives.
  • Deliver learning experiences in multiple settings (face-to-face, virtual, webinars, podcasts, video, mentoring, coaching, networking/community-based).
  • Support team development activities, including psychometric testing.
  • Provide support to the Lead Facilitator by observing and coaching peers.
  • Maintain accurate learning records within agreed timeframes.

What you will need

  • Track record of delivering management and leadership development initiatives and coaching senior business leaders.
  • Skills in data manipulation and analysis, with the ability to influence decisions based on data.
  • Inclusive mindset with a commitment to diversity and diverse perspectives.
  • Experience facilitating learning to senior leaders in virtual and live settings.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and interacting with various functions/business areas.
  • Commercial mindset with a understanding of how management and leadership offerings impact business performance.
  • Flexible and resilient, able to pivot into changing priorities at short notice.
