Policy Wording Technican

We are looking for a Policy Wording Technician who will help draft and provide solutions for new opportunities and maintain our existing product range. This is a full time, 12 month Fixed Term Contract\secondment opportunity.

What you will do

• Provide technical advice to the Company on wordings related matters

• Review, draft and check all NIG policy wordings to provide a high level of accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements

• Deal with wording requests

• Resolve wordings queries from NIG internal staff and Broker partners

• Provide comparisons between differing wordings

• Provide market insight into policy wordings to make sure the business retains a competitive edge

• Provide technical wording training to the business

• Establish good working relationships with both internal staff and any external Broker partners

You will report to our Underwriting Control & Governance Manager.

What we are looking for

• Professional/technical knowledge and skills

• Experience within insurance and insurance contract law

• Good level of knowledge of multiple commercial lines of business

• Good levels of Microsoft Office
