Here at Direct Line Group, we recognise the importance of flexibility, not only in our personal lives but also in the way we work. Our mixed model way of working offers a ‘best of both worlds’ approach combining the best parts of home and office-working, offering flexibility for everyone.

How much you’ll be in the office depends on your role, and we’ll consider the flexible working options that work best for you. You can find out more about our flexible working approach or please get in touch with the team to discuss.

Direct Line Group is made up of over 10,000 employees across its Personal and Commercial lines. The Commercial business is made up of some well-known brands – including Direct Line for Business, NIG, FarmWeb, and Churchill for Business. It’s the fastest growing area of the DLG portfolio – offering a wide range of commercial property liability and commercial motor insurance products through direct, intermediated, and price comparison websites!

The successful growth in Commercial has been due to a change in strategic direction to demonstrate importance and relevance in an ever-changing market. NIG, for instance, has geared up and built upon already strong relationships to provide more solutions for brokers’ customers, stepping up to the plate when it was needed the most.  The positive momentum has continued to provide a steady stream of new growth income which has facilitated more diversification in the NIG portfolio. This has resulted in writing types of business we’re not typically known for.
