eTrade Product Manager
What we’re looking for:
We have an exciting, full-time, permanent opportunity for the eTrade Product Manager who will deliver growth in specific NIG eTrade insurance products and channels, by working with our Pricing, Underwriting, Marketing, and Operations.
This is a hybrid module role where you will visit our Peterborough or Manchester office 3 days a week.
What you’ll do:
Support defining the NIG eTrade Insurance strategy and translating these into business plans and forecasts.
Ensure the reporting of sales volume, premium and profit performance tracking against with forecasts.
Monitor the performance of the assigned products with underwriting and pricing and problem solve any business issues, driving corrective action
Ensure that products delivered to market at the correct value / price point, but without compromising profit goals.
Make product, pricing, proposition and customer insight recommendations to achieve business targets
Manage third parties including site visits and their performance reviews.
Ensure that any risks are assessed, documented and/or escalated in line with the correct business process and to understand and comply with the requirements and processes of the internal Risk function and any Regulatory bodies.
Manage the risks involved in running our business following our risk framework.
Manage own team of direct reports and improving the individual performance of all staff and rigorously manage underperformance and Talent.
Skills and qualities you will need:
Experience from within the Commercial Insurance industry.
Excellent communication, relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
An understanding of how packaged commercial insurance products are managed and either experience of or an appreciation for how products can be taken directly to the consumers.
Commercially aware and driven, with prior experience of managing a P&L account.
Previous experience of identifying and delivering product developments and business improvement projects.
Ability to deliver business plans with and through others.
Ability to understand and discuss and communicate technical issues succinctly.
Experience using Excel and Power BI
