We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team as Transformation Programme Manager. This is a home based role with occasion travel to our Bromley office, when it is safe to do so.
Programme Manager for all aspects of DLG deliverables within Shared Service initiative. The responsibilities will include driving the programme to deliver to plan, meeting key landmarks, assisting with key decisions and managing key partners.
What you'll be doing:
Assisting with project planning, defining key activities and timelines, resource plan, communication channels
Monitoring and reporting on timelines and results, budgets, constraints and project risks and critical success factors
Effectively managing internal and external partner communication.
Managing project leadership and successful delivery of the agreed programme outcomes.
Managing programme execution and aligning programme achievements to ‘outcomes’
Line management of Business Analysts, development and test teams where applicable
Unblocking the impediments and enable the team to make progress further on daily basis.
What we are looking for:
Qualified Programme Manager/equivalent with excellent understanding of waterfall and Agile methodologies
Strong experience of leading projects, bringing in standard methodology control frameworks and processes.
In-depth knowledge of financial shared services operating model and frameworks used in Financial Services/Insurance industry
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to interpret and present quantitative finance data
Motivated to find end-to-end solutions and work cross-functionally and with remote teams
Deliver to tight timeframes in a constantly evolving environment and sometimes shifting priorities
Competent with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Atlassian products such as JIRA, Confluence
Significant partner management experience
Excellent communication skills
Experience working with off-shore/global delivery teams
Experience in leading multi-discipline teams, including business analysts and offshore developers, release management and other technical / business teams
