What we're looking for:

This is an exciting time within our Change and Automation team. With up to 3 Business Change Managers (BCM) positions available on a 12 month secondment or FTC basis to improve our capability and permanent resource. We are looking for experienced BCMs to come on-board and lead end to end change.

You’ll bring:

  • People Focused. Passionate about the change experience, meeting objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption, usage and minimising resistance
  • Leadership experience. Leaders who are accountable for outcomes and benefits, comfortable leading and coaching, and able to look beyond day to day change delivery
  • Credibility in partnering with senior stakeholders, supported by wealth of business, commercial & change experience
  • Technical capability – Logical thinkers, those who can present a plan, creating and implementing change management strategies. Utilising and working in different change methodologies, including Agile, and Waterfall to achieve the collective goal

Who you'll be working with:

You will lead Business Change from all across our business – in the last few years we have delivered projects for colleagues working in Customer Operations, Claims, Counter-Fraud, Robotics, Digital, Property and Finance to name just a few! You will get support from Project Managers, Business Analysts, PMO and of course business SMEs to help ensure success.

Our team has grown to deliver significant change at DLG and continues to do so. We are accountable for the end to end delivery of business change projects, leading the way on key strategic drivers. This is an exciting and dynamic team to be part of – now and in the future!

What you'll be doing:

You will focus on the people side of change, ensuring the change is sustained with business outcomes and benefits realised. This will include:

  • Assessing the change, business impacts and business readiness, identifying and managing implementation strategies , risks and opportunities ,that transform business-as-usual from status quo to new way of working
  • Preparing the business, owning and consulting with colleagues at all levels on any people and cultural impacts, developing on-going trusting working relationships
  • Creating the vision and build a clear project plan based on realistic planning assumptions
  • Driving the implementation of the required changes against clear business acceptance criteria, such as processes and operational MI
  • Communicating the benefits of the change, building momentum and embedding knowledge, removing obstacles and coordinating transition activities, creating stability and a sense of the new being the norm
  • Working closely with other key support departments including, Testing & Release Management, Learning and Internal Communications to ensure specialist services are utilised
  • Lead effective, informed and highly motivated change teams with you either partnering with a dedicated delivery work stream, supporting a large programme or be allocated a number of projects within a portfolio

Salary - Up to £42,000 p.a.
